I am a wife, a friend, a nanny, a nurse, a daughter, a sister, and many many other things. Among those things, a photographer... kind of.

Photography has always been a passion of mine. I love art, but am so rooted in that which is concrete that I have difficulty fabricating things out of my own mind. What I can do is capture existing things, moments, on film (or in pixels).

My fabulous parents and husband joined forces to give me an incredible camera as a gift for graduating nursing school. As a result I challenged myself to start a blog and post a picture every, or nearly every, day. This would encourage me to take my camera everywhere and shoot in many different circumstances. To really get to know my tool and hopefully improve each day.
